This project invites students to work on a smart wall for the 7^th Trash Makeover Challenge organized by the Texas Campaign for the Environment. Students collectively designed and made an 8 foot tall and 17 ½ foot wide Kusama Wall for the green carpet at the venue, using one strip of 3’ × 8’ plastic drop cloth, recycled plastic containers, and a fastening method. Artists at A&M (Dr. Hwaryoung Seo and her students) installed sensors and digital projections to complete this interactive piece.
