Understand the tranformation from a 2D surface to a 3D space and the transition from interior space/surface to exterior space/surface. Understand the form of space is also a result of construction material. Fold a space to create interior space. Extend the interior space to exterior and construct a “site.” Use both surface material and linear material to construct the space. Observe how the form of space reacts to the use of different materials.
